VineCycle Tours grew out of Jeff and Melissa’s life-long love of cycling, a good story, and their appreciation of California viticulture. Bicycles have always been part of their lives having first met on a cross country fundraising ride to support the famine relief work of Oxfam America. Several years and many miles later, Jeff and Melissa got hitched and raised two sons with cycling always something the family did together, and still does!

A long-time mountain bike coach, Jeff is skilled at making cycling safe and fun for riders of all abilities. Melissa, who is known to pedal a unicycle on occasion, brings her knowledge of natural history, plants and animals to the tours. Both enjoy helping guests get comfortable on their bikes while finding unique photo opportunities along the way. We look forward to the opportunity to share our passion for cycling while bringing to life the unique stories of the vineyards we pedal through.
